SOUTHWEST ASIA -- (Left to right) The 380th Air Expeditionary Wing Commander Brig. Gen. HD Polumbo, Jr., serves Thanksgiving Day vittles to base members with Lt. Col. The AFCENT commander said Roy's is always one of his favorite stops in the AOR as the tented dining facility is reminscent of a "mom-and-pop restaurant back home in the states." Brig. Gen. Kevin B. Schneider is the Assistant Deputy Commander, U.S. Air Forces Central Command, and Assistant Vice Commander, 9th Air Expeditionary Task Force, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. As such, the general assists with the development of contingency plans and the execution of air operations for the 20-nation U.S. Central Command area of responsibility covering Central and Southwest Asia.
