Coalition forces provide humanitarian assistance to Afghan people
Paktia province, Afghanistan -- As part of a Veterinary Civic Action Program, or VETCAP, a Coalition forces veterinarian does a checkup on a cow. The VETCAP Nov. 20 in the village of Chamkani offered free examinations of livestock, deworming treatments, vitamin supplements and advice on how to care for animals. Coalition medics also treated minor ailments of the local villagers and offered them medical advice. (Photo by Army Sgt. Lynne Eickstedt)
