Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Senior Airman Ashley Hanshaw writes the weight onto a weight management sheet for manifest while Senior Airman Nimani Brown marks the weight on the package for outgoing mail Nov. 21, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Both Airmen are postal specialists deployed to the 379th Expeditionary Communications Squadron in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. The ability to send and receive mail through the U.S. Postal System is an incredible morale boost for deployed members here. Airman Hanshaw, a native of Bronx, N.Y., is deployed from Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga., and Airman Brown, a native of Chicago, Ill., is deployed from Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
