Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Staff Sgt. Brian Kuykendall, munitions systems journeyman assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, uses a cut-off tool to remove a castle nut from the tie-rod of a munitions trailer Nov. 14, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The 379th EMXS munitions section delivers weapons to the flight line to be used in the Global War on Terrorism. Sergeant Kuykendall, a native of Reedley, Calif., is deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
