Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Staff Sgt. Gordon Grgurich, crew chief assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, eases a tow bar into position at the front tire of a C-130 Hercules, Nov. 11, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The C-130 is backed into position on the parking ramp to make most efficient use of ramp space available. C-130s are capable of operating from rough, dirt strips and are the prime transport for air dropping troops and equipment into hostile areas within the Central Command area of responsibility. Sergeant Grgurich hails from Saint Clair, Mo., and is deployed from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
