Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Airman 1st Class Eren Kipp, aircraft electrical & environmental systems technician assigned to the 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron, reconnects a shut-off valve connection on a C-17 Globemaster III engine, Nov. 10, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The AEES team is trouble shooting a valve that is telling the engine computer you one thing but a physical inspection shows otherwise. The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the Central Command Area of Responsibility.
