Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa
Airman 1st Class Richard True, aerial transportation apprentice assigned to the 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron, helps back a fully armored High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle into a C-17 Globemaster III, Nov. 5, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Airman Andrew Rose, aerial transportation apprentice assigned to the 8th EAMS drives the Humvee while Staff Sgt Daniel Carter, aerial port expediter assigned to the 8th EAMS, signals directions for placing eight Humvees inside the C-17.
