Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Staff Sgt. Daniel Carter and Senior Airman Joseph Daigneault, air transportation craftsmen assigned to the 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron, load a C-130 Hercules propeller onto a C-17 Globemaster III, October 29, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the Central Command area of responsibility. Sergeant Carter hails from Elgin, Ill., and is deployed from Charleston Air Force Base, S.C. Airman Daigneault, a native Lowell, Mass., is deployed from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark.
