Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Staff Sgt. Branson Standridge, 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron, lowers the self-contained jack on a C-17 Globemaster III, while Airman 1st Class Cody Hickman tightens a wheel after a brake change, October 23. The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the Central Command area of responsibility. Sergeant Standridge is a native of Atkins, Ark., and Airman Hickman hails from Danbury, Texas.
