Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Senior Airman Kenvin Keophakdy, immunization technician assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group, administers a flu shot to Senior Airman Ryan Punches, a crew chief assigned to the 8 Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron, Oct. 20, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Immunizations are administered in order to sustain a healthy force capable of enduring the strains of deployed life and continuing the Global War on Terrorism. Airman Keophakdy, a native of Providence, R.I., is deployed from Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont., and Airman Punches, a native of Boise, Idaho, is deployed from Charleston AFB, S.C.
