Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa
Airman 1st Class Matthew Enter, 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, uses a power drill to remove a stripped screw head, October 17, 2008. Senior Airman Mark McMichael, EMXS, reaches for a vacuum to capture any fragments that come apart during drilling. The bad screws are being removed so crew chiefs can pull the panel and do maintenance on a C-17 Globemaster III at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Airman McMichael, a native of Denver, Colo., is deployed from Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., and Airman Enter, a native of Rochester, N.Y., is deployed from Fairchild AFB, Wash. Both Airmen are deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Michael Boquette/Released)
