Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles sit in the 532nd Expeditionary Security Forces Group Quick Response Force parking area at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Oct 7. Air Force security forces personnel here have incorporated MRAPs into their historic mission to defend the base both inside and outside the perimeter, a mission not conducted by the Air Force since the Vietnam War.
