Staff Sergeant Eric Holmes, 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, talks his partner, up inside the fuel tank, through a fuel tank probe change in a KC-135 Stratotanker, October 16, 2008. A three-man crew is replacing a compensator probe on the Stratotanker's main fuel tank at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The KC-135 provides the core aerial refueling capability for the United States Air Force and provides aerial refueling support to Navy, Marine Corps and allied nation aircraft. Sergeant Holmes, a native of Tampa Bay, Fla., is deployed from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
