Maintaining the 'Young at heart'
Airman 1st Class Joseph Marion, crew chief assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, removes the cargo compartment air conditioning plugs from a C-130J prior to take-off Sept, 29, 2008 at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The EAMXS is responsible for providing maintenance to aircrafts prior to and after take-off so they can fly their mission in support of the global war on terrorism. Airman Marion, a native of Tampa, Fla., is deployed from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
