Tech. Sgt. Shaun Carroll and Airman 1st Class Gary Saari assist Tech. Sgt. Donald Brogan in removing a B-1 Lancer flap from the flap carriage October 5, 2008. The crew, all assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, is pulling the flaps in order to trouble shoot a flap lock-up problem at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The B-1 is often called upon to deliver precision weapons in support of ground troops engaged in Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
