Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Sgt. Joshua Shirley, ordinance technician assigned to Marine Transportation Squadron 1, uses a scaffold wrench to close the compartment of a UC-35 that was loaded with flares Oct. 3, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The UC-35 provides senior warfighting commanders and their staffs executive transportation to meet and concord with other governments in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
