Tech. Sgt. Chris Reiter and Airman 1st Class Ryan McMillen, both assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 340th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, team up on the jack lifting over 300,000 pounds of KC-135 aircraft and fuel as Airman 1st Class James Giesick removes the dust cover Sept. 28, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The tire needs to be removed and the brake unit replaced after a crack in the heat shield was detected during a post-flight inspection. Sergeant Reiter is a native of Farmington, N.M., and deployed from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., Airman Giesick is from San Diego, Calif., and deployed from Grand Forks AFB, N.D., and Airman McMillen is a native of Warsaw, Ill., and deployed from McConnell AFB, Kan.
