AFCENT Commander visits Airmen in Afghanistan

Lt. Gen. Gary North, U.S. Air Forces Central commander, shares a laugh with 1st Lt. Kierra Kaaoush, 209th Afghan Regional Security Integration Command - North liaison officer, at Camp Spann in the Balakh Province, Afghanistan, Sept. 26. Lieutenant Kaaoush?s mother, a retired chief master sergeant, had asked the general to check on her daughter during his visit. While at Camp Spann, General North held an Airman?s Call and recognized outstanding performers.
