Brothers meet at 20,000 feet
Maj. Eric Moraes, B-1B Lancer pilot for the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, stands in front of his aircraft. Major Moraes was recently reunited with his brother 20,000 feet over Afghanistan during a combat sortie Sept. 10. His brother, Capt. Jason Moraes, 380 AEW, flew the KC-10 Extender aircraft that refueled the B-1B. The brothers had been apart for a year when they met in the skies above the AOR for the 10-minute reunion.
