RAF DET recognizes Battle of Britan victory, sacrifices
Volunteers from the Royal Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force march in formation, moving into position to participate in the Battle of Britain Sunset Ceremony here Monday. During the traditional Royal Air Force ceremony, the Royal Air Force Ensign is lowered at the end of the day, symbolizing an act of remembrance for those who fell in the line of duty during the 1940 Battle of Britain.
