Bringing jobs to Panjshiri women
Air Force Capt. Jillian Torango, Panjshir Provincial Reconstruction Team Woman’s Affairs Liaison, checks the status of a chicken coop that is being constructed as part of a women’s poultry training program that has just started in Tawakh village, Anaba District, Afghanistan, Sept. 15. A team made up of members of MARWA, an Afghan non-governmental organization, the Department of Women’s Affairs, and the Panjshir Provincial Reconstruction Team visited the village to view the progress.
