Tech. Sgt. James Sterba, 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 340th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, passes pliers back up inside the rear section of a KC-135 Sept. 14, 2008. Sergeant Sterba is helping troubleshoot a hydraulic leak from a tiny access compartment in the rear of a KC-135 Stratotanker here at this undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The KC-135 Stratotanker provides the core aerial refueling capability for Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and allied nation aircraft supporting Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
