Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Tech. Sgt. Gina Laux, independent duty medical technician assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group, loads medical bags onto an ambulance Sept. 12, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. These medical bags contain medical equipment and supplies used to sustain the health of an injured member until they can reach the hospital for further medical attention. Sergeant Laux strives to keep deployed members healthy so they can continue the fight. Sergeant Laux, a native of Tampa, Fla., is deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., supporting Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
