Bringing the voice
Tech. Sgt. Camon Tucker, 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, and Staff Sgt. Jonathan Arnold, 379th Expeditionary Communications Squadron, guide the tower down toward bolts embedded in a concrete base Aug. 26, 2008, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Sergeants Tucker and Arnold are members of a team exchanging aging towers with a sturdier replacement that should last nearly twice as long. The Giant Voice system is used to communicate important information to all base populace instantaneously. Sergeant Tucker is deployed from F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo. Sergeant Arnold, a native of Muncie, Ind., is deployed from the Fort Wayne Air National Guard, Ind.
