Only 20 years, middle initial separate deployed family duo
Tech. Sgt. Sydney J. Wolfe, 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 55th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, tightens a brake system hydraulic line on a C-130 Hercules Aug. 21, 2008 at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Sergeant Wolfe is in a rather unique situation. He and his father, Tech. Sgt. Sydney R. Wolfe, are both hydraulics system craftsman assigned to the same unit. They work opposite shifts so their specialized skill set is available around the clock. Sergeant Wolfe, a native of Salem, Ohio, is deployed from Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
