Small group takes small packages, makes huge impact
Tech. Sgt. James Tew, outgoing non-commissioned officer in charge of warehouse and distribution assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group, places a minor module inside an individual first aid kit while Staff Sgt. Lizeth Cameron, his replacement, writes the trauma module information on a servicablility tag Aug. 23, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Sergeant Tew and Sergeant Cameron are responsible for ensuring the individual first aid kits are packed containing the right treatment for immediate medical care. Sergeant Tew, a native of Mobile, Ala., is deployed from Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., and Sergeant Cameron, a native of Mexico City, Mexico, is deployed from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo., in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
