Small group takes small packages, makes huge impact
Airman 1st Class Demetrius Jackson, 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron,grabs another Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) from a full box of IFAKs to check off his list Aug. 19, 2008. The IFAKs are checked to make sure they match up with their DD form 1574 (serviceable tag - material). Items inside the IFAKs are checked for expiration dates to ensure they are serviceable. Airman Jackson is a member of the team revitalizing the IFAKs, part of the recertification process to get them back into use supporting Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
