Movin' on up: 379 EMDG transitions into ‘enduring’ facility
SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Staff Sgt. Joseph Smith and Tech. Sgt. James Heim, both biomedical equipment repair technicians for the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group, along with Army Sgt. Johnathan Brown, biomedical technician with the 427th Medical Logistics Company, guide a patient couch to the gantry of the computed tomography here Aug. 21. Computed tomography is used to take full body X-rays to search for injuries. Sergeant Smith, a native of Amarillo, Texas, is deployed from Scott Air Force Base, Ill.
