RED HORSE
TSgt Pete Nikolakakos, 1st Expeditionary Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers (RED HORSE) Group, unleashes a fountain of sparks while using the chop saw Aug. 11, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Sgt Nikolakakos, a machinist deployed from the 823rd RED HORSE Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Fla., cuts steel L angles used to fabricate a bracket. The 1st Expeditionary RED HORSE Group performs heavy repair and construction projects throughout the US Central Command’s area of responsibility.
