Ready for liftoff
BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan -- An HH-60 Pave Hawk spins up it's rotors for takeoff here on July 17, 2008. All HH-60Gs have night vision goggles with lighting and a forward looking infrared system that make this airframe ideal for performing medical evacuation missions in adverse conditions, even under a new moon.
