Staff Sgt. Molly Farrand and Senior Airman Deonda De Leon, medical technicians with the 379th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, discuss the best configuration for the six litters as they load them on the C-130 Hercules prior to an AE mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, April 16, 2014, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. A crew of two nurses and three medical technicians work as a choreographed team as they configure, load, and inspect all emergency equipment litters and medical supplies on the aircraft to ensure function and preparation for any and all types of medical emergencies, as well as safety for all crew and patient on board. Farrand is deployed from the Wyoming Air National Guard and a Fort Collins, Colo. native. De Leon is deployed from Ramstein Air Base, Germany and a native of Vanceburg, Ky.
