Hypersonic
Staff Sgt. Daniel Santos talks with Spc. Franklin Montano, a patient recovering at the Intra-Theater Care Program at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Mar. 24, 2014. The ITCP is the only recovery facility in the Central Command area of responsibility and wounded warriors from all services are sent here for treatment and recovery in order to return to their deployed location. Members of “Hypersonic,” the band assigned to U.S. Air Forces Central Command, perform for patients to help boost morale, offering a wide variety of hit songs from genres such as jazz, pop, rock and country. Santos, a native of Bulacon, Philippines plays acoustic guitar and is deployed from Yokota Air Base, Japan. Montano, recovering from minor surgery, is deployed to Afghanistan with the 150th Engineer Co. from the New York National Guard, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Maj.
