C-17 Airlift Mission
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Kyle Weaver, 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron loadmaster, marshals a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle onto a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III Jan. 23, 2014 at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. Aircrews are working around the clock to support Operation Enduring Freedom retrograde operations, airlifting equipment out of Afghanistan. Equipment is airlifted to regional logistics hubs where it is then sent by sealift to its final location.
