Uniform shredding supports force protection
Airman 1st Class Ryan Peterson volunteers to collect uniform items at one of 15 uniform drop boxes at the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing in Southwest Asia, Oct. 15, 2013. Uniform drop boxes are placed around base to ensure members do not throw uniform items in dumpsters as this could cause degraded force protection and operations security efforts. Peterson is a 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration apprentice deployed from Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., and a Minneapolis native.
