Retrograde, Bagram Air Field Aerial Port
Staff Sgt. Ryan Vanterpool, 455th Expeditionary Aerial Port Squadron aerial porter, chains down a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle on a C-17A Globemaster III at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Oct. 2, 2013. Bagram has become a major hub for retrograde operations out of Afghanistan. The 455th EAPS special handling section pushed 4.2 million pounds of retrograde equipment during the month of September.
