Chief Petty Officer Pinning Ceremony
Chief Petty Officer Timothy Spicer is presented his chief petty officer combination cover during a pinning ceremony at the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing in Southwest Asia, Sept. 21, 2013. Rich in traditions and rituals, which guide much of Navy life, the chief petty officer pinning ceremony is preserved to ensure Sailors stay consistent with the Navy’s core values of honor, courage and commitment. Spicer is a logistic specialist assigned to the Expeditionary Warfare-Fleet Marine Forces, hails from Rogers, Mn., and assigned to Navy Air Cargo Handling Battalion 7, Great Lakes, Il. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Joselito Aribuabo)
