Turning the Fuze
U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Kevin Schneider, 380th Air Expeditionary Wing commander, tightens a FMU-152 tail Fuze into a GBU-31 version three bomb during an introductory bomb build at the temporary munitions storage area in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia July 15, 2013. The FMU-152 tail fuze is used to arm multiple munitions types. Pilots and other members of the 380th AEW took a tour of the temporary munitions storage area in the hopes of gaining more knowledge of what goes into building munitions.
