Kandahar’s Liberty reaches end of mission
An MC-12W Liberty aircraft with the 361st Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron prepares to take off for a mission at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan Aug. 20,2014. After four years of missions in Afghanistan, the unit will end operations in September. During their tenure, the unit executed over 25,000 air tasking order sorties, achieved 115, 000 combat flight hours and eliminated 450 insurgents from the battle space.
