303rd departs Bagram
BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan - U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II pilots assigned to the 303rd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron wait for maintainers assigned to the 455th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron to give them the okay to taxi onto the runway and depart Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan Oct. 19, 2014. The 303 EFS was responsible for close air support operations throughout Afghanistan and was deployed from the 442nd Fighter Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.
