An Airman from the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Group Crashed, Damaged, Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) team controls the flow of air going into an air bag used to lift a simulated damaged aircraft during an exercise, Nov. 11, 2014, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The team, made up of maintainers from several airframes, deploys anywhere they're needed in the area of responsibility to assess aircraft damaged in accidents. To do this, they prepare for possible scenarios and always have their equipment ready to go. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Kia Atkins)
