Al Udeid honors Washington’s Birthday with Retreat Ceremony

U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Group salute the U.S. flag while in formation during a Washington’s Birthday retreat ceremony, Feb. 16, 2015, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Washington’s Birthday, also known as President’s Day, was originally celebrated on February 22 but moved to the third Monday of February by the federal government in an attempt to create more three-day weekends.
