Airfield damage

A large hole on an aircraft parking ramp containing several rocks is found at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar March 17. Members of the 379th Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron’s Airfield Management team conduct checks of more than 49 million square feet of pavement at AUAB every day. The team reports any discrepancies that could interfere with flying operations, such as the hole pictured here. In 2015, the team supported more than 20,000 sorties. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech.
