Lifesavers in the sky
Members of the 455th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, put the medical stretcher straps together to be loaded onto the C-130J Super Hercules at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, May 05, 2016. If servicemembers must be moved from the battlefield to a medical facility outside of Afghanistan, the airmen assigned to the 455th EAES will be the link between them getting from the combat zone to higher-level medical care.
