PJs and EOD work together
Pararescue specialists from the 83rd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron, pull Staff Sgt. Rebecca Devoy, 455th Air Expeditionary Wing paralegal, from under a mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicle, Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Aug. 18, 2016. Pararescue specialists perform rescues in every type of terrain and partake in every part of the mission, from search and rescue, to combat support and providing emergency medical treatment. The 83rd ERQS paired with soldiers from the 717th Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit to increase interoperability with each other and demonstrate Explosive ordinance operations and theater personnel recovery capabilities.
