Kingsley, 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, refuels a 27th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron F-22 Raptor from a KC-10 Extender Aug. 22, 2017, in the skies over southwest Asia. KC-10s can transport nearly 170,000 pounds of fuel and offload to a receiver at 1,000 gallons a minute through the boom or 470 gallons a minute through the centerline drogue.
