Fingerprints to convicts: ACME tracks down the enemy

An optical bridge, two-connected microscopes, is used to match the markings on bullets at the Afghanistan Captured Material Exploitation laboratory at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Jan. 3, 2019. Just like fingerprints, the markings on firearms and their components are unique to the make, model, caliber, country of origin and serial number of a specific firearm.
