PMEL flight – domination through calibration
Senior Airman Javier Ortega, 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron (EMXS) precision measurement equipment laboratory (PMEL) test, measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) technician, calibrates a torque wrench Jan. 25, 2019, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The team supports approximately 14,000 pieces of TMDE and can forward deploy to locations throughout U.S. Air Forces Central Command to provide precise calibration for equipment that can’t be transported to Al Udeid.
