ADAB weather Airmen improve climate tracker
A new Tactical Meteorological Observing System (TMOS) remote is rebooted during an installation of a newer TMOS at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates, Dec. 23, 2020. The TMOS ceilometers track clouds and the heights of clouds. These are then transmitted from the airfield to the weather shop and then reported to pilots to inform them of the current weather at take-offs and landings. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
