USA, USAF conduct CAS training
U.S. Army 2nd Brigade 1st Armored Division, 1-35 Armor Battalion, Joint Fires Observers and pilots from the 77th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron conduct close air support training recently, at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. JFOs provide essential information to Joint Terminal Attack Controllers and pilots such as target information, map locations of friendly and enemy forces, and request, adjust and control surface-to-surface fires strikes.
