Gaming network launches at AUAB
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Jason Robinson, a network control center section chief from the 379th Expeditionary Communications Squadron, tests out a new dedicated gaming network at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, March 22, 2021. Members of the 379th ECS took advantage of existing fiber infrastructure to create a fast and local gaming network, allowing base residents the ability to play online games with little to no speed barriers. The network is expandable across the base and allows for game specific local servers to accommodate all users’ gaming interests. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Jordan Martin)
